GRB Aug 28, 2010

Well here we are again! Sometimes you just can't seem to win, but the show still goes on.

Sorry that it’s a bit difficult to hear me. Even with all the tests before the show, there’s that one variable that creeps into the works and you only find out later when it shows up. Kinda like that one night stand you had and there’s something odd on your lip that next morning.

Thanks for hanging out with us and hopefully we'll have things firing on all cylinders next time.

Here’s the list of topics we chatted about during the show and well catch ya on the flipside.

Wear wristwatch? Use e-mail? Not for Class of '14
The Associated Press
Tuesday, August 17, 2010 Every year, Beloit College in Beloit, Wis., releases its Mindset List to give a snapshot of the world view of the incoming freshmen class. The list for the Class of 2014:

Some Highlights

1. Few in the class know how to write in cursive.

2. E-mail is just too slow, and they seldom if ever use snail mail. Texting – Asians pushed and used longer – easier to hear than cell phone

3. "Go west, young college grad," has always implied "and don't stop until you get to Asia and learn Chinese along the way."

7. "Caramel macchiato" and "venti half-cafvanilla latte" have always been street corner lingo.

18. Fergie is a pop singer, not a princess.

19. They never twisted the coiled handset wire aimlessly around their wrists while chatting on the phone.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Philadelphia bloggers were abuzz this week about a citywide move to crack down on citizens running a business without a license -- which includes any local bloggers running ads on their sites.
